- About Yourself
Michael Chalk is an adult educator (language, literacy and numeracy) who uses technology to support learning at Preston/Reservoir ACE (Melbourne). Examples of his work include "English at the Beach", and "Snakes Alive!", a web-based audio reader.
During his Flexible Learning Leader project year (FLL), he investigated how language and literacy teachers and learners could benefit from open source. Michael has supported delivery of many professional development programs for technology in learning, ranging from "hot potatoes" and web design, to digital storytelling and audio online. He has also worked to support development within the Community Engagement projects.
