This colloquium introduces several Electronic Village Online session
leaders, who discuss their participation in this free, wholly online
venture involving more than 1,000 global participants annually.
Presenters talk about the challenges they faced and how they create
viable communities in a virtual environment.
Otago Polytechnic has initiated a traveling open space conference called The Future of Learning in a Networked World. 10 international speakers will get together in Dunedin on September 18 and travel to participating institutions to discuss this topic with local audiences. This event coincides with the annual meeting of the Teach and Learn Online network being in Dunedin on September 18, and eFest being held in Wellington September 27. Between these dates the group will travel to participating institutions, continuing the discussions, recording, blogging and publishing ideas and models along the way.
