I'm just catching up on the Part 1 recording and find it very useful.
My two euro cents: At the beginning of the session remind people how to Skype in and of the need to disconnect from the whichever sound media they're using to avoid voice problems.
A discussion of what's been happening "and explore how people might put the '09 set of tools [dealt with so far] to use" seems great and maybe pick on your "resistance", if I can call it that, to the blogosphere and see what people have to say about their own experiences. It'll work as a great intro to Week 3 when Sharon Betts and Nelba Quintana will be talking about blogs, wikis and podcasts. HTH.
