In September 2005 the development project LANCELOT funded by the European Commisssion in the framework of LEONARDO DA VINCI, Language Competence II started its 2-year development with a total of 23 partners in 8 European countries. LANCELOT stands for "LANguage Learning by CErtified Live Online Teachers" and aims to promote language learning through the professional development of 'live online language teaching'. Live online language teaching is language tuition held in virtual classrooms via Internet.

Now, the LANCELOT project nears completion. Heike Philp, co-initiator of the project, will share the project results whilst relating some anecdotes from 2 years of project work. She will also provide a sneak preview of the nearly finished course material.
