twitter blocked

Hi
Vance - trying to follow your instructions and register for sites, etc. listed - Twitter seems to be blocked from UAE - does it matter? Any suggestions?
Heather

Twitter Optional
Hello Heather,
Shouldn't be a problem. We'll be experimenting with using Twitter to share late breaking convergence info and commentary, but it is not essential at all. There should be plenty of other ways to stay tuned in (e.g. chat rooms, audio stream, http://schedule.wiaoc.org )
Jeff
and so is flickr
Hi
I am sorry but now I am listening to Leigh's presentation but can't access his slides as flickr is blocked from UAE. Am sure Vance has some totally tecchi way round this but for us mere mortals, inexperienced in this concept, but willing to give it a go, this is really frustrating! Suggestions please!
Thanks
Heather
