Professional development through collaboration in wikis

Collaboration and interaction are crucial for learning to take place. Wikis are ideal spaces to achieve this interaction and collaboration.  In this session, the presenters will describe how they have used wikis for teacher development. Their advantages and drawbacks will be discussed.

The presenters will explain what wikis are, their characteristics, and then show examples of wikis they have used for professional development: online courses and online presentations.

The audience will be able to interact with other participants and with the presenters through chat and voice, while the presentation is taking place.
